Understand what happens between sending your referral and meeting your OT
Enquiring for a preschool?
Preschool Boost Educator Coaching is requested by the preschool service, not for an individual child's therapy.
Before you submit the form
The form gives us enough detail to understand what support is needed and who we should contact. You can upload relevant documents, such as an NDIS plan or GP referral, if you have them.
What we need from you
- The person's contact details
- What help or support is being requested
- Who can give consent or has authority to act
- Who our team should contact
- Communication and access information
- Funding type and relevant funding details
- Current reports(if relevant)
- Referral documents(if relevant)
Share the available therapy budget and current funding period if known.
After you submit the form
We review what you have shared, contact the person you nominate and explain the first appointment if the request can proceed.

We review the referral
Our admin team checks the request, funding, service fit and current availability. We usually get in touch within one or two business days.

We contact the nominated person
Keep an eye on the phone number or email address shared in the form. We confirm the details and prepare the relevant documents. These need to be signed before the first OT appointment.

We book the first appointment
If we can take the referral and onboarding is complete, we match the person with a suitable OT and book the first appointment. For ongoing OT, this is usually an initial phone assessment, followed by a face-to-face assessment. Other services may start differently.
When your first appointment is booked
Your OT uses what you shared to prepare for the first conversation. We'll tell you what to expect and where the appointment will happen.
For now, put your feet up. We'll get things ready for your first appointment (Alex has clearly got the idea).
