How to read it together
Read the story together on a screen or from a printed copy. Pause when something catches your child's interest. You might ask, “What sounds can you hear here?” or “How do you notice when you're thirsty?” Use the story to help him explore their senses.
Your child can talk, point to a picture or simply listen. Follow their pace and connect the story with things they already notice in everyday life.
